New preprint! ReGAL: Refactoring Programs to Discover Generalizable Abstractions introduces a new refactoring-based method for learning abstractions for LLM program prediction, improving performance on a variety of tasks. Joint work with Archiki Prasad as part of my postdoc at UNC.
